I included nothing like photos or plane tickets or any of that. I mean, if I have her on my insurance, what does it matter that we went to NYC together? BF/GF travel together, only spouses are on each other's insurance. And credit cards. And bank accounts.

After reading through a few of these threads, I do wish I had include 1) a marriage certificate and 2) a copy of my wife's passport with her name changed.

I agree, many of these things don't make sense, financial intermingling should have the highest weight, but what they also want to see i guess is that you guys "lived life" together, so over the few years you have continued to go over trips, etc.

I would stop worrying now that you have sent your package, actually going through this forum is a double edged sword, on one hand its awesome to know these little things but then if you find out extra things that you should have done post sending the package, it only makes our minds go numb with what if and what now scenarios 🤪. If USCIS has an issue they will send an RFE, atleast you got in line 😉

I agree with you. I didn't attach marriage certificate or passport 😣. Since I already sent it I can't do anything. So unless I got RFE, I am not worrying.

My cover letter is 2 page long too. I always believe you could do this without a lawyer. I am removing condition from CR1 too. Good luck!

Hello everyone I filed the I-751 form on June 01 and they received on June 02
I got the notification from USPS and the person name who signed but after 15 days, I didn't receive any notification or update from my case, so I was wondering what can I do the website said:

"NOTE: Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days after filing at a Service Center or 30 days after filing at a Lockbox. "

but other cases the credit/check was charge after 3-5 days after USCIS received their forms so I believe is something wrong with my case...

also in USCIS online website to make a claim or ask for an update on your case you have to write a Receipt Number something that I don't have yet...
any help or information I will be more than happy to heard

I was not aware of that calculator either, I calculate the 90 days prior my GC expires and the earliest for the filling date was June 09, I decided to send it earlier because I was scare of Covid-19, everything is running in extraordinary schedules or any delay of packages from USPS, but that was not the case they received the package a day after (June 02)...

ahh then that is your answer. they received your application too early and is probably in the process of sending it back. don't worry, at least it's a very easy issue to fix (just send it back)!
