After we receive the visa in the mail, the only outstanding task is to pay your Green Card fee, is that correct? Did we receive instructions on how to do so? Just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything. Thank you!

Here's some instructions:

After paying it, you'll receive a new Receipt number:

Receive confirmation of your payment.

  • Once your payment is complete, you will be directed to the “Confirmation” page. We encourage you to print a copy of this page for your records.
  • From here, you can pay for additional immigrants, return to the USCIS homepage, or exit your browser.
  • You will receive a payment confirmation from ELISdonotreply@uscis.dhs.gov with the subject “Pay.gov Payment Confirmation: Immigrant Visa.”
  • The email will include your receipt number beginning with the letters IOE. We encourage you to save this email for your records.

For those who have gone through the process of applying for a travel exemption; how long did it take before you heard back from Australian Border Force regarding your application?

Hello,

You need to send an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov, inform your full name, case number, date of birth and the name of the petitioner. In the letter you need to inform that your case is already DQ and inform the emergency reasons that you are requesting the expedite. The reasons can be health problems, financial problems or something related to that.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your kind reply

Can the reason only be emotional hardship and distress bcz  i don't have any documents as evidence?

@JaymitI got approved for expedite today. The reason for my case was emotional distress and hardships. But i attached certificate from my Doctor as i am undergoing treatment and had a medical history to attach as a supporting evidence.

Hope this helps.
