You organise it yourself.

there is a list on visa journey in the Australian section. Price varies between $590-$650.

what state are you in?

The US Dept of State also has a really good site that explains the process and lists the drs for each state.  Some info on their site is a little out of date (for instance you only need two photos for the dr) and contradictory but it was still helpful.

Zochu's post here was really really informative as well and people have been happy to share their experiences.

I attended my interview in Sydney this morning and have been approved! Yay!!!

What an experience!   I am now at Brisbane Airport waiting for the bus to take me and other passengers to the quarantine hotel.

Hey everyone

I just noticed my noa2 is going to reach it’s ‘valid to date’ in a couple of weeks time and my case status is ‘at nvc’ do I need to contact the embassy to get it extended, the nvc or does it automatically happen?

cheers legends.

Mine expired August 31st so just after the expiration date I emailed Sydney to request my visa gets sent to them (expediting) which got approved and it just arrived at the embassy today.

SO 10000% email them with your own personal expedite :)

Same for me -Embassy confirmed they received my case on Monday and that 'We will reach out to you shortly with detailed instructions on how to proceed.' Still haven't received said instructions/interview scheduling information -have you had any more luck? At risk of being impatient, I wondering if I should just call them up and ask (I've been emailing them so far but usually takes a day or two to get a response) 🤔

What is this supposed to mean? I have an approved expedite and they told me to pay the fee and create account etc, then I email them back to get an appointment and they tell me this???

If you are from Victoria they are not scheduling interviews even with an approved expedite. You’ll need to wait until the border restrictions between NSW/VIC are no longer in place.

otherwise, if you’re from another state... I’d email them back asking for more info

Hi All, how is everyone going with their applications or interview dates?

We got DQ'd back in late May and still heard nothing on possible interview dates, hopefully things change soon for everyone.

Bruh istg I literally put in bold text and huge letters that I am NOT currently in Victoria (I am at a family member's in QLD) so even though my case says Victoria I am free to get to NSW.

It's odd that they didn't mention Victoria and straight up said they aren't doing any interviews. Do you think I should call them?

Have you changed your address with the NVC in your visa application?

I would call them. Email them. Anything to get them change your location.

otherwise you’ll join a long wait for Victorians that are unable to be scheduled.

My fiance called them but she said it was just a call centre in the Philippines, and she couldn't do anything except email the consulate.....

Hi John, email the NVC expedite email asking them to expedite you. That's what most of us have done in this thread.

Hi Giggs, I was going to do that but just saw other posts where it seems if you are in Victoria we are not even being looked at until the border issue is resolved. Such a long road here to the last stage and now this. Lets hope the whole covid thing is sorted soon.
