Is it unusual for the I-485 to be sitting in "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" from Nov 23 till now? I haven't received any notice about the interview.

Where are you located? Depending on where you are that can take several months to change to "An Interview is scheduled".

I am in the same boat.  My status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled" on October 8th.  I hope we get an interview soon.

I've had my I-485 status on "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" since 9/18/20. Just hoping for EAD/AP for now just to tide us over till we get an interview. Submitted expedite request, requested for assistance from Congressman, submitted case inquiry. NOTHING as of today!!!!

My status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled" on August 21st! And still nothing. I'm in San Diego.

I received my AP/EAD in the meantime but really didn't think it would take over 4 months for an interview notice...

Hi, finally had our biometrics on 12/10. My husband (beneficiary) was accepted to coding school on 12/16 (needs EAD to be able to enroll, plus SSN for grant apps). Decided to expedite EAD on 12/23. Got an email requesting proof on 1/4. Faxed it the same day. Today, 1/6, our USCIS account updated to card being produced.

Sharing this so that others in our position (not a job offer, but school enrollment) can think about expediting too. I originally wasn't sure if they'd approve it, but glad we tried!

Also, is it about a week until we should get the ead

Have people been getting their SSN a week or so later?

Still no biometrics up to now. 06/15 PD, Seattle ASC. I have already lost hope for this process. 😭

We’re in WA too, PD 6/5, no biometrics appointment yet. Nor any status updates. A week ago we wrote to our district congressman and waiting for a response.
