Just wanted provide an update...

Nov 17    Biometrics taken and applied to I-485 & I-765
Nov 19    Applied for EAD expedite
Nov 20    Expedite evidence requested
Nov 23    Applied for AP expedite (not sure if this was necessary - but didn't want to leave it to chance)
Nov 24    Expedite evidence faxed (cover letter mentioning both EAD & AP, employment offer)
Nov 30    Congressman sent expedite request on my behalf (with same letter and emp offer)
Dec 03    EAD approved
Dec 11    Combo card received (via Priority Mail with tracking - Note: The letter did not appear on my Informed Delivery daily digest)

Hi,

 

I have also recently requested and expedite EAD and waiting for them to ask for evidence. Can you tell me what kind of evidence did you give to expedite each - EAD and AP? And what number did you fax it at? Is your application at NBC - meaning does your receipt number for EAD start with MSC?

Congrats! I am wondering why did you seek congressman help? Did the SR you raised get rejected?

I read that others had done the same .. so I did too. Figured it can only increase chance of approval.

So your status never got update to say if either your or congressman requests were approved or denied right? 
 Who is L1 officer? Same as T1?

Also, can you please let me know what evidence you provided to expedite AP. Thanks!

No, I don't know which avenue was the effective one.  I assume it was my fax, because it was only 2 business days between when the Congressman sent his request and the date of the decision.

(I doubt USCIS would act that fast for anyone.)

I didn't provide any further evidence (nor did USCIS ask for evidence for the AP) 

In my cover letter I mentioned both EAD and AP. So, even though the email from USCIS requested evidence for EAD, in my letter I said I was requesting expediting of both.

Hello everyone, wanted to update that I received my notice in the mail today, and my interview is officially scheduled for 1/13/2021!!

We filed on June 2020, and we just received our interview notice for January 11, 2021. Thought this was very fast so wanted to share my timeline

June 20 - sent AOS package (I-485, I-130, I-31, I-765) 

June 22 - case was received by USCIS (priority date)

July 1 - Notice of receipt by USCIS (for all 4 applications)

August 11 - Biometrics appointment 

October 31 - EAD/Advanced Parole/SSN received

December 9 - received our interview notice scheduled for January 11, 2021.

 

Let me know if you any comments/questions and also if you have any tips for the interview/what documents to bring

Literally crying with frustration. FINALLY receive my biometrics appointment notice today and it is for the service center for my old address in New Jersey. I moved from New Jersey to Florida at the end of October, submitted my change of address. Got email confirmation from USCIS that it had gone through and even double checked it with a Tier 2 at the start of November who confirmed that my new address was in the system. 

 

Spoke to a a Tier 1 just now and they said my options are to go to the current appointment, or to reschedule, but if I reschedule I go back into the system and a new appointment would be at the discretion of the new field office. Requested a call back from a tier 2 officer to see if there is anything that they can do, but already resigned to the fact that I'm probably going to have to be fly to New Jersey for my appointment. 

 

There really is no end to the ineptitude of USCIS.

In the process of expediting my EAD! I got an offer so I spoke to an agent through Emma and she put in the request on 12/16. When I woke up this morning I had an update status email from USCIS saying they received the request and my status updated on Case Tracker to ‘Expedite Request Received’. She said I would hear back from them within 5 days. I suppose they’ll ask for proof (offer letter) on the next step. Fingers crossed! Hoping to start the new year with my combo card in hand.

Yes. My husband is still waiting on a biometrics appt here In Salt Lake City. I've realized we're in for the long haul and trying not to get our hopes up too much.

Yes, we’re still waiting, our packet was received June 5, we contacted USCIS multiple times since October and still nothing. 
I’m seeing people on CR, F or H visas getting biometrics. 
Maybe let’s ask this: June filers with K (fiancé) visas living in Democratic states, have you gotten your biometrics appointment yet?

Did anyone from June AOS date, get SSN card after getting Combo EAD card? Normally how long does it take get SSN after EAD card approval?
