Our application was received 6/5 too. And still no biometrics appointment or any update online.
How do I check if we requested SSN?

If you checked the YES box on question 14 of your I-765 (EAD) application.

Congrats! I filed 6/5, a few days after you. We have the same biometrics date. Hoping to get the approval soon. Did you request SSN with the I-485? If yes, did you received along with EAD?

No I applied roughly 2 weeks after arriving in the US so already had a SNN.

My EAD approval estimates given by VJ, last Sunday and today (attached). Hope this is true (fingers crossed)

Has anyone noticed that their predictions bump up like this?

My AP prediction is still in April.

Great! So it is not a mistake, USCIS has officially started June filers.

I have seen that USCIS approves EAD before Biometrics, however they don’t ship the combo card until you finish biometrics

I've stopped checking in so much because its a huge disappointment every time I see more and more people being lucky enough to proceed on with their lives.  Good for all of you...

We are not so fortunate...no progress...and no avenues available to get anything done...

After all we went through to get this far it is tragic what has happened l.  At some point we are going to have to consider leaving the US entirely and just going back to Thailand.  We cannot continue to wait and have my wife unemployed and unable to travel to see her family indefinitely.

This entire process is torture...

They have definitely started June Filers.  We had our Biometrics on 8/27, my husband got his EAD approved on 10/30, and received the card and his SSN on 11/2.

I think this may also depend on the State/County too.

I live in Sacramento California and the Governor just announced some strict COVID-19 guidelines which caused a lot of Government offices to close temporarily. I went to a county office yesterday and they are closed to in person visits and only doing calls. USCIS does not state that the Sacramento ASC is closed but I imagine that they are probably processing much fewer biometrics daily since they still have to comply with State and County guidelines.

My current Timeline:

June 9, 2020 - Form I-130 filed electronically through USCIS.gov

June 10, 2020 - Form I-130 Accepted

June 11, 2020 - Form I-130 I-797 PDF available for download with priority date of June 9, 2020

July 27, 2020 - I-797 letters received for I-485, I-765, and I-131 with a received date of June 18, 2020

August 10, 2020 - Notice of RFE for I-485 mailed.

August 13, 2020 -  Red RFE notice received via mail. Notice requested proof of residence for 864A sponsor.

August 13, 2020 - Mailed RFE response to USCIS**

August 17, 2020 - USPS confirms that RFE response was delivered

August 18, 2020 - USCIS Notification confirming receipt of response for RFE

September 24, 2020 - Received I-693 Deficiency Notice

January 22, 2021 - Form I-130 Approval Notice received by mail

January 29, 2021 - Biometrics notice received for the I-485 and I-765 dated for February 17. 2020 at 1pm

I hate to be the "party-pooper" but I won't put too much value on the VJ Approval Estimates. Back in November 15, I was given the same estimate "any day now". Then NOTHING! A week after, the estimate changed to Feb. 16, 2021 and just got worst each week. Yesterday's estimate was March 22, 2021. I presume they are using an algorithm that factors in processing times for similar cases. But it appears that there are no solid processing patterns at this moment; so this may be a "garbage in; garbage out" situation when it comes to approval estimates.

However, I do wish I am wrong.

I filed 6/5; had biometrics on 8/6. I submitted an expedite, sent evidence of job offer and spoke to Tier 2; she said they still cannot guarantee an approval date. I feel I've done everything humanly possible. I've fasted and I've prayed. I wrote a letter to Santa. 🙂 Still hoping to get the approval SOON!

Keep the faith and hang in there gang! One day we can all look back at the tremendous perseverance we exhibited during this exasperating time!

Can I ask what date did you file for expedited EAD? And what docs/evidence did you send other than the job offer?

I plan to do the same after my biometrics with a job offer.

I submitted my expedite request on 10/22. USCIS only requested for job offer so that was all I provided.

Wow. I thought once you expedite with a job offer they send it to you in a week max. What is the current status then if the expedited EAD. Have they basically rejected your request for expedite or not saying anything to your request. And how do explain this to your employer?

The response from Tier 2 was they cannot guarantee a timeline. There was no formal advise of the expedite being rejected nor approved. So it sits in limbo; awaiting feedback. My deadline to accept the offer is on Friday; I am just hoping I at least know the EAD is approved by then so I can sign the offer and send back. If I do not get an approval by the deadline; then I hope I get a response before the employer hires another applicant. I know hope is not a great plan but that is all I have at the moment.

Dude this is really crazy. I had no clue uscis is delaying expedited request like that too. Even with a job offer. This is an eye opener. Is your case at NBC? Did you try reaching out to Congressman and ombudsman?
