Finally got my biometrics scheduled for December 3rd at the Alexandria (VA) ASC!!

I requested to speak to Tier 2 officer a week ago and they put me on a “wait list” and I finally got the call from a Tier 2 officer this morning! He asked me absolutely no questions and just told me what the earliest appointment was. I said I was going to be in Louisiana on November 30th so I asked If I could please have it December 3rd and he put me on hold but 5 minutes later he confirmed December 3rd. He said I would receive the notice in 2 weeks. I’m SOOO happy this actually worked!! After the call I got this email:

Glad to hear your case is finally moving!!!

I got exactly the same response!

And also no access to a tier 2 agent.

The frustration continues... lost my job offer as well... now all I need is for Trump to win another 4 years and I'll be done for!  😂😭

The bio appointment has been scheduled!!  Yay!

This afternoon, I finally got call back from Tier 2, who told me that the bio appointment was scheduled today and to wait for the formal letter.

Of course, I couldn't wait!!  So I logged into myUSCIS but sadly couldn't find the letter there.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to go to ASC before the actual appointment date?

Secondly, is it possible to go without the letter in hand?  (I know have an email saying that I'll be receiving a letter in the mail).

Long time lurker; benefitted from others' posts on approvals so thought I'd do my bit as well:

Received my EAD/AP approval notices in the mail today.

Applied on 06/19.

First NOA: 06/22

Biometrics: 08/25

EAD/AP approved: 10/23 (received 10/29)

EAD/AP received: Soon I hope.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting for the EAD/AP. Hope everyone gets it soon too...

Congratulations !! What's your visa category? Did you get biometrics for Code 2 or Code 3?

I've been on an F-1 since 2012.... Biometrics - the form says Code 2, but they took all 10 fingerprints and did the background check so 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hi all,

I have a question and maybe you remember or can check at your I693 form copy. At form I693 at Page 13, Part 10 (Vaccination Records) at the results part, did civic surgeon check the box: "Applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers as indicated above"?

I guess that civic surgeon has ALSO to check the box "Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met"

Did they check the box "Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met" for you as well?

So sorry for this message. I am trying to be safe when I will review my I693 copy in a week from now and I am not 100% sure what parts should the civic surgeon check.

Hello, I just went to check mine. The doctor checked only  "Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met" on mine and I was approved.  You can always contact them!

This is great. So next is the interview.

Yes, hopefully soon.  Just to update - we received the approval notices and his SSN in the mail yesterday, and have a package coming from USCIS on Thursday, which I am assuming is the EAD card.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Mine has already checked “Applicantmay be eligible for blanket waivers as indicated above”

This is normal as if you are above 18 you have some age appropriate waivers BUT I have to check once he will finish all the paperwork if he has checked the “Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met”. I think he should and I will ask for it if I see anything weird at the copy.

Again thanks for confirming and helping me out. Much appreciated

Got my Biometrics appointment letter in the mail today!

I have a question regarding the code. I have “Code 2” on the letter which means it’s for my I-485 and I-765 but it doesn’t say anything about the I-131. Will they take my fingerprints for both my I-765 and I-131? I won’t have to go back for another biometrics appointment, correct? I wouldn’t want to wait more months for another appointment that may never come 😅

Sounds like what I need is Code 3 instead of Code 2 since it’s a combination of Code 1 & 2 (I think Code 1 is what you need for the GC). I’ll make sure to tell them to do Code 3 at the appointment. Thank you!!

Doesn't matter what you need...its what they schedule you for...

My wife and step daughter (12yo) filed AOS from K1 and K2 at the same time...

Daughter had her biometrics appointment a month ago for her I765(code 2)

Her mother has never received an appointment for any biometrics...

And the the 12 year olds I765 case status has never updated since her biometrics were done a month ago.

Just another series of disappointments for us.

Literally NOTHING is done right.
