It's been more than 6 weeks since they received my RFE. Nothing happen so far. Should I call and check or should I keep waiting? This is taking so long.

They received mine on 07/20 and still no news until now. Not even bio. :(

I contacted USCIS and they said that it can take up to 90 days to receive any update after the RFE is received. About 1 month after the RFE evidence was received, I got the I-693 courtesy notice. Still waiting on biometrics but Sacramento might take a while.

If you do want to check, use live chat. Honestly, the live chat option has been really quick. I plan to follow-up after 90 days.

May 24, 2022 - AOS Interview Sacramento

May 26, 2022 - Status updated to "New Card is being produced" Green Card Approved.

*Packet was mailed without I-693 medical. Will wait for an RFE and take it to the interview. Also, tax transcripts were not available at the time so copies of the tax returns were sent and a cover letter explaining why.

**Included tax transcripts in RFE response since I was now able to gain access since sending the application.

Here we go again...

After having to refile because the Lockbox wrongly rejected our applications we now have yet another issue to resolve due to yet more USCIS incompetence.

As background...my wife and 11 year old step daughter are adjusting status from K1 and K2.

Yesterday we received an i797 in the mail for a biometrics appointment just for the i765 for our 11 year old step daughter ONLY.

Nothing for her mother.

Numerous hours of online chats and phone calls with tier 1 and tier 2 agents and the best they can offer is that they sent an email to the ASC handling the case and said the ASC would reply to us via email in 10 to 15 days.

Even after I told them the biometrics appointment was  for 10/7/2020(8days), they said that was all they could do and that I would just have to wait for them to respond.

I would say I'm shocked at the level of incompetence of these people but I am really not.

So at this point we must take an 11 year old child for biometrics for her i765, while her mother has not been scheduled for anything.

The level of stupidity from these people knows no limits.

Just go and tell them to get the biometric for the mother too. Maybe they do.

Yes. You will be talking with a live person...so you don’t get generic responses or bunch of links to browse through

So I used live chat to check on biometrics status. My case is at Lawrence...they haven't sent anything to USCIS yet.
I got the standard response that they opened July 27 and to allow them 90 days to schedule. I'm at 64 days (74 days since NOA) according to my countdown app.
