I did it back in May at Phoenix, Arizona and they took blood samples (A LOT) plus urine. No X-ray. I made sure i completed my vaccines with the panel overseas physician before my arrival so no vaccinations were required and i gave them my full DS-2035 form.

They know what they doing so just follow their advice and you didn’t say whether you went through with the medical exam or came back so either way just do what they tell you to do and the cost was around $300.00.

Good luck.

Since my case is employment based I did not complete DS-2035.

Looks like the cost changes with the state you are living in. Hope the cost in Connecticut is cheap as yours.

Thanks!

Today I went to a civil surgeon to get my I-693 done. He said vaccination records from my country are not valid. They asked me to do blood test to confirm the titer of MMR, varicella and Tetanus and test for TB, Syphillis and Gonorrhea.

Is this all the tests that you guys did? Don't we need Hep A&B, Meningococcal tests etc?

How much did/does it cost you?

I had to get all of the vaccines coz I lost all my vaccine records. It costed me about $500 for the check up, vaccine and lab work. SC.

Great! Thanks. Hope mine stays under $500 bucks.

How long did it take for all these to happen? Did the surgeon fill out the forms ASAP (once blood test results are in)

Really. I thought its a 1-2 days thing :(

The lab work takes time for results, ~1 week. The actual appointment doesn't take long.

Oh cool. I thought it takes a week for the surgeon to sign and give back the documents.

Thanks for quick reply

Shan - We made an appointment with a doctor to get the vaccines done through health insurance prior to the medical exam - Also, look on easyime.com - I found a doctor in Bridgeport that is $75 for the medical.

Hi!

Regarding vaccination record , do you know if a certified translation is needed?

The form I have is pretty straightforward - vaccine name, # of doses, date(s) it was received.

Thank you!
Chiara

I had my EAD expedite approved on Thursday, as I have a job offer, does anyone know how long it will take to have the physical card and SSN? The status is currently ‘New Card is Being Produced’
