Thank you! And hopefully it is something simple for you too.

I swear I had checked my packet more times than Santa Claus checks his naughty or nice list but still missed that.

I wouldn't be surprised if you actually mailed everything but they missed it. In my case I filed I-130 and AOS separately, I included *a copy* of the I-130 just as an FYI, I even included an APPROVED notice for my I-130, i thought I was being thorough and smart and I stressed over and over about what I'm filing, but as a result nobody at the lockbox read my cover letter and they rejected my whole packaged because they said the check amount was wrong 🙃 when I called them they said they must have assumed I was filing for another I-130 (now why on earth would I wanna do that when I already have one that's been approved?) Anyway I'm sorry to hear you need to refile something you believe it's already included.

I submitted the fee $1225.  I had my file returned for wrong fee. This is the fee on the website. What is the correct fee?

what is the category you are filing you on your i-765  ? that might be the problem

I received my RFE today. There are asking me to submit 'Supplement J' providing information on a valid my job offer. However, the instructions on I-485 clearly says that I don't need to submit it based on my category

image.thumb.png.4dd3fa3d3ffe233e6cbb99269064e60a.png

I even had a whole paragraph in my petition letter specifying why I am not needed to submit it.

Have any of employment based (NIW) petitioners submit Supplement J ?

This is causing unnecessary delay to my progress :(

My RFIE came in yesterday. My husband and I used a joint sponsor because I am a student so I have no income right now. We evaluated with the lawyer and the sponsor we chose have way above 125% poverty line. USCIS is saying that the joint sponsor qualification cannot be determined.

They sent a generic RFIE for joint sponsor proof of income. I am not even sure which step they want because our lawyer sent everything that was needed for proof.

We called our lawyer today and he will review the package that he sent to see what else need to be sent. I went through the package and everything look good so im not even sure where to go from here except wait for our lawyer to review it. It's frustrating when there is a delay in the process when it is already taking so long.. :(

Joint sponsor's pay stub, w2, tax return/tax transcript, bank statement, employment letter from their employer...Not saying you need ALL of these, but when they say they want to see proof of income these are the things they meant.

Yeahs we went down the list and we sent all of those already. We even got a employment letter stating the current salary annually. I'm not even sure anymore because we put everything in.

Today I went to a civil surgeon to get my I-693 done. He said vaccination records from my country are not valid. They asked me to do blood test to confirm the titer of MMR, varicella and Tetanus and test for TB, Syphillis and Gonorrhea.

Is this all the tests that you guys did? Don't we need Hep A&B, Meningococcal tests etc?

How much did/does it cost you?

go to this website:  https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor  and find the doctor close to your location. Them are certified/trained to run diagnosis/test needed for immigration. USCIS will not accept medicals from doctors who are not certified. Tests are not cheap, I'd say an average cost will be around $600, depending on state you live. I didn't use my insurance instead negotiated price with doctor and paid him out of pocket.

I did it back in May at Phoenix, Arizona and they took blood samples (A LOT) plus urine. No X-ray. I made sure i completed my vaccines with the panel overseas physician before my arrival so no vaccinations were required and i gave them my full DS-2035 form.

They know what they doing so just follow their advice and you didn’t say whether you went through with the medical exam or came back so either way just do what they tell you to do and the cost was around $300.00.

Good luck.

Yeah I went to a surgeon certified by USCIS. However I have heard people get RFE for their I-693 (not sure why). Hope the person I am going to, will do it right ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the cost. Hope the insurance will cover the cost of tests....so I only need to pay the doctors fee.
