I got it this evening. However, the appointment is in August. May be there is lesser backlog in Connecticut

Whoa, that was fast! Good for you. Hope the rest of use get our biometrics appointments soon as well..

Though I have seen a rare instance where someone's case was updated to reflect that the biometrics was taken/updated without a bio appointment. I guess they used the fingerprint scans from POE? 🤔

Same here, I was advised yesterday that if your ASC opened on the 13th, then you should receive your biometrics appointment letter by the 26th, if it doesn't come, USCIS will place  service request.

As a side note, it's crazy how similar our timelines are, we were also married March 2019, then I was visiting for a few weeks when Covid shutdowns happened, so we move from Consular to AOS in June.

Looks like you had an April interview scheduled that was cancelled? That's rough!
We were still in NVC stage in April and were hoping for an Aug/Sept interview. Montreal Consulate is backlogged in the best of times.

Looks like your AOS journey is about a week ahead of us. Cool :)

How do you determine which ASC center you're awaiting biometrics appointment letter from?

I think you can just enter your zip code here to find the closest centre to you: https://egov.uscis.gov/office-locator/#/asc

But don't quote me on that!

Where did they tell you that? Really hope that’s the case. It’s been over 5 weeks since my NOA1 and my closest ASC opened on the 13th 🤞🏼

I used the live chat option, I had them clarify a few times and was told to call on Monday if I don’t get a letter

Since most ASC are opened now, I am sure we all will get appointment letters before the end of this month. So we all can take the journey together. Good luck to all of us!

I actually think your ASC is also the same as mine since you’re in DC

Sorry for so many posts today. Anyone know why I can't update my NOA date on my timeline? It says something about it can only be max 8 weeks since originally filing? Pretty sure 2020-06-15 to 2020-07-17 is fine...

I got a letter saying I don't need to do another biometrics appointment as they still have them on file from last year, hoping that helps speed things along.

Wow! That’s great. Congrats! Next step is getting AP and EAD approved. Good luck!
