I was under the impression that it's good for 2 years, but that's only if it's been certified by USCIS within 60 days.

It's clear that the IO misunderstood the I-693 Policy. The USCIS Policy Manual says that you can't do your medical more than 60 days BEFORE you file your I-485. Yours was valid because it was done after you filed I-485 and it was still sealed. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-8-part-b-chapter-4

Form I-693 Submitted to USCIS On or After November 1, 2018

When did civil surgeon sign?

I-693 retains evidentiary value through

No more than 60 days before applicant filed underlying benefit application with USCIS

2 years from date civil surgeon signed I-693

After applicant filed benefit application with USCIS

2 years from date civil surgeon signed I-693

More than 60 days before applicant filed benefit application with USCIS

N/A – I-693 not valid at time applicant submits I-693 to USCIS

Oh great! I was pretty sure I hadn't grossly misunderstood the I-693 instructions...and I likely read them many times before having it done. Interesting that he didn't know the policy on that. That's kind of surprising! But I'm glad it didn't become an issue. Thanks for replying!

We had our interview this afternoon at Lawrence ASC. New card is being produced!!!

Heads up about the medical...I was under the impression that it's good for 2 years, but that's only if it's been certified by USCIS within 60 days. So he almost asked for a new one. I did mine July 2020. But then I explained that the deficiency notice said Do NOT mail. Anyway, thankfully they accepted it! Saved us needing an updated one, phew!

Congratulations!!

Now they are opening the consular processing. Did your I-130 approval discussed during the interview? Our still shows at NVC on ceas site.

Yes, I actually I had a date for a consular interview prior to biometrics for AOS. But I chose to continue pursuing AOS. I didn't want to leave my husband or travel while pregnant. The I-130 didn't come up at all yesterday! So either the consulate returned it or USCIS requested it back.

My case is now scheduled for an interview! I applied for AOS in June, had biometrics sometime in August and got my EAD in October.

Was anyone able to have his/her lawyer present via phone while in the interview or does anyone know of someone?

Our interview letter mentions this possibility but is this guaranteed?

Just answered your question in another thread. Not necessary to post your question in multiple places.

Hello, everyone!
I have a question... After the case status changes to “Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview” how long the interview is scheduled?

Thank you.

Very dependent on your local ASC!

You can compare timelines in Denver here: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslist.php?vtype=0&op8=Denver+CO&interview=&xfr=&op1=3&op2=d&op3=&op4=1&op5=&cfl=0
People don't always come back to update their timeline though.

Looks like ~1-3 months after biometrics?
