DQ´d but not so much...

I ended up logging into my CECAC account and saw that I had 2 messages that wouldn´t open. I called NVC (60 minutes waiting).

The officer confirmed the messages are not opening and one has to call to have them read to them.

Turns out one message said I was DQ´d (all documents approved) and the other said I don´t meet minimal income requirements. She said the ultimate decision lies with the Council Officer but suggested I get a joint sponsor.

I am very surprised to find this information like this. I was going by my DQ email and thought everything had been approved and was good to go... I had already celebrated getting DQ´d and now it seems I need a joint sponsor.  It seemed as though I had robust evidence of income (well above poverty line) but maybe nowadays (post COVID10) they want more and more evidence?

Has anyone gone through something similar? Any thoughts? Do I get a joint sponsor and resubmit or do I just get the sponsor and bring the info to the interview?

Sigh...
