Joe Biden’s Terrible Gun Advice

As Dan McLaughlin writes, Joe Biden has no idea how guns work. Today the candidate suggested that cops who are rushed by “unarmed person” with “a knife or something” should be trained to “shoot them in the leg instead of the heart is a very different thing.” This is dangerous advice for the numerous reasons Dan lays out.

what he said
i'd also like to add that it's hard enough to hit a moving object, much less an arm or a leg.  shoot center mass. also less chance of a round hitting something unintended.
i have never heard any firearm instructor say shoot to wound.

Except for Joe Biden.  Of course he has advised his wife to haphazardly shoot a shotgun into the air.

You learn stuff like this in Resident Evil videogames where video game monsters tend to move slow and predictably.

 

"Shoot them in the leg then swipe them with a knife to save ammo!"

 

Who knew the Democrats took this as real world advice.

The sad part of all of this is that I cannot seem to find any subsonic .300 BLK ammo.  I am severely triggered!

It is interesting, folks want more gun laws such as the one demonstrated above, and they also want to get rid of the police.  So in many states taking a gun away from someone who might be having a hard time is against the law.  I listen to Kirby Wilbur occasionally, and he sometimes relates a story when the wife of a friend of his was having some medical issues and she asked Kirby to take his guns away temporarily, but the gun laws in Oregon made that potential act of kindness unlawful.
