I had my interview Friday at the Las Vegas office. It was about 15 minutes in and out. Very quick and easy process. I was recommended for citizenship, and received the notice of an oath ceremony letter being sent later that day.

I had copies of birth certificates and marriage certificates, but the only thing that was asked for was my ID, Green Card , and Passport.

The dates on the online system are officially meaningless.

No document available yet on the online portal.

congrats. I'm from Vegas and wonder could please share any specific useful details for the interview, if have?

Has anyone from Chicago passed the interview and received a status says oath ceremony being scheduled and have not yet seen any notification in the document tab after a week of interview?

Same situation, Chicago filer. Expect about 4 weeks for the oath schedule letter to be sent out and another 4 weeks for the actual ceremony.

Wow😮!!!

Count yourself lucky - here in Seattle it's looking like it'll be November before I even have my N-400 interview.

Was informed just before the holidays that my biometrics are being reused, but based on current tracking, I'm not expecting to be seen by USCIS until mid November this year.

Any other long-term waiting folks here?

You will wait about 4 weeks for the notice to change from Oath Ceremony will be scheduled to Oath Ceremony was mailed.

Another 4-5 weeks between when the document is available on the online portal to the Oath ceremony day.

It's a long boring wait but I guess it's worth it in the end.

Actually mine changed to Oath Ceremony Scheduled, AND Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed on the same day, 3/19/21.

I just logged in to check and the electronic form was uploaded under documents. The 'virtual ceremony' is scheduled for 4/22/2021.

This morning I had my oath ceremony in Baltimore MD. Here's my experience.

Per the notice, it was at 8:30 AM, and while it says that they let you in 30 minutes prior, we were only allowed to go thru security at 8:15 AM.

Post security we were directed to a room and 2 officers were sitting at a desk. They asked us to hand over the notice, and the old greencards and all. Then they confirmed that all the details on the notice questionnaire were accurate and that there were no changes to it.
Then they showed us the certificate and we were asked to confirm that there's no errors. Following that, we were asked to take a seat, given a flag and an information package (passport form etc.)

Once everyone was checked in, the officer gave a short speech about the importance of the day. Then he asked us to stand up, raise the right hand and recite the oath of allegiance. And that was it !
After we were done, the other officer distributed the naturalization certificates and stressed on the importance of confirming the details on the certificate and signing it with Black ink only, otherwise it will be $555 and 1 year ! We were asked to leave the building and make sure that the details were correct and then sign the certificate when we are home....

An end to a journey ! Now onto new ventures !

Hello, yes.

I filed June 30, 2020. Got NOA1 July 1, 2020 and have not heard back since.

Called to place a service request for SFR office in early November. Answer took a month, and was basically "we'll call you when we'll call you."

Then I spent a few months in Mexico with family, whishing they did not call me. I could have placed a request because my time was technically passed... but decided against it as I wanted to extend my family visit.

I came back March horrified to see the processing times had jumped from a relatively healthy (by USCIS standards) 10 months to a whooping 20 months. Good Lord.
I called USCIS today and it was HARD to try to get a human. ***Tip: Say "INFOPASS" and they will eventually connect you with a human.

Said human placed a Tier 2 request for me. They will call me in 14 days.

I received an email from them confirming that someone will give me a call. I am sharing the message here (it's in Spanish).

So... still waiting, yes. Not surprising. Not even frustrating at this point. But can you image if I had waited until my green card was a couple years from expiring? I'd be SO nervous.

Anyway. Good luck to you all! ❤️
