Did anyone else have their case transferred after biometrics were reused?  I was hoping next step would be directly scheduled interview...

Just checking to see if anyone else has similar status as us.  We do have a pending ROC-751 as well.

Has anybody in the June filers contacted their rep/senator? It's been radio silence and nothing about biometrics except that "it has been entered into a scheduling system". Getting a little antsy but wondering if it's worth reaching out

I just applied on the June 1st via online. Fast and easy. I am not expecting a 4 month process due to their office closing but if this happens, it would be nice 🤩

Hi! If you apply online do you need to add all this package of docs copies? Im totally lost, bc in instructin it is said that I must bring them with me.

I applied June 5th via the online portal. Local office is Las Vegas, NV. I haven't received any updates since my submission, aside from the initial receipt.

Is anyone else applying from Las Vegas?

My permanent resident status is set to expire in May, and I'm a little nervous about that. Does my working status expire in the meantime? Do I need to apply for an extension? Is anyone else in a similar situation?

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to update the group. I tried creating an inquiry about my case, but the online tool sent me an error message as my case is still within processing time.

So I listened to @ToysneATX in a different thread about calling USCIS anyway. If you want, give it a try: 800-375-5283.

I tried three times with the English menu and kept stuck in a menu loop until it eventually kicked me out. I tried in Spanish and it connected me to a human right away when I asked "representante".

The person I talked to asked my information, and I mentioned that I have not had any movement except for the receipt notice which I got the next day after submitting my case online. She went ahead and created a service request for me and provided a confirmation number.

Now I have to wait 30 days, but at least a human has typed something in my case and there will be some movement. I hope they reuse my biometrics so I can spend the holidays with the family abroad--but I will not complain if I get a biometrics appointment this year! 😂

Thanks,

On the day of my interview, I did bring all the copies that I have uploaded but they never asked for it.

I am in NJ, but I was in a similar situation - I made an appointment with the Newark, NJ field office for an extension stamp (valid for 1 year) in my passport.

Hello All,

A few days ago, I advised you to contact USCIS and get some anwers... I just thought I'd share the reply from USCIS:

On 11/04/2020, you or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:

Caller indicated they are:
 -- Applicant or Petitioner

Case type:
 -- N400

Filing date:
 -- 06/30/2020

Receipt #:

Type of service requested:
 -- Fingerprints/Biometrics

The status of this service request is:

Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning a biometric services appointment.

Biometric appointments are scheduled based on application/petition requirements and/or the associated processing times.  You will be scheduled for, and notified of, an appointment at the appropriate time.  Your appointment notice (Form I-797C, Notice of Action) will include the date, time and location for your ASC appointment.  You must take the appointment notice and photo ID to your appointment.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Kind regards,

USCIS

I also tried calling but wasn't able to reach a human. But I put in a request last month through my online portal and got a reply today. No update yet on my case status though but hopeful that will happen soon.

Pretty straight forward on how send a request, but for those that don't know. Click on  My Account --> Inbox then click on New Message. See screenshot below

Anyone else's case completion date (guess) just randomly disappear? Was October or November for the longest time, now nothing.

Got a biometrics reuse notice a couple of months back, but nothing since then. I have a Green Card extension in the works too, that still has a completion date, but not the N400.
