Hello,

I am a permanent greencard holder since 2017. I filed for Naturalization in June 7, 2020. USCIS acknowledged on their website June 8 and I received the actual receipt notice by mail few days later. Since then there was no update as of Oct 5, 2020. I noticed the that on my case history tab it says it has received my application, but there are two messages. Both messages are the same, I only submitted it once. I am wondering if this is an issue? If so, what will you do if you are in my situation?

I filed for my N-400 online.

Thank you,

Here we go.....

My N-400 interview has been scheduled - 11/17.

My field office is Charlotte and i filed on 6/24.

I cannot believe my N-400 will be this quick especially with Potomac stalling my I-751 since last year.

Anyone for the Baltimore field office? I filed June 23rd and have not heard anything since. Last biometrics were done in 2015 for EB greencard so I have low hopes of them being reused. The local field office was opened on 7/27. I've been told to ask 90 days after the reopening, so I that 10/25..in about 10 days now.

Happy to see this update!  My i-751 has been waiting to be scheduled for an interview since May 2019!  Did they say whether it will be a combo interview?

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

They didn't say that.

It's just the N-400 interview & the letter says the proceeding could take up to 2 hours.

So I suspect the test and the oath ceremony would take place on the same day and I might collect my naturalization certificate the same day.

Fingers crossed.

I used Ask Emma. I typed "Live Chat", and then it gives me the options of "case status", then I select biometrics. Finally it then shows the link to connect to a representative. And then I chat with them asking about case status.

Depending on where your ASC is, you may need to wait a few more days. Baltimore opened on 7/20, so 90 days is 18 October....

Yes, I agree to following the PD date. I filed on June 28 online so my NOA says June 28. It looks like you filed by mail.

Yes I did. By mail. No news so far.

Another question for you all. My case number starts with IOE. What does it mean? And how do I know my service center or local field office? Technically I'm in Denver but applied via mail to Arizona. So would denver be my field office? And if so, why does my case say IOE then?

Also, how can I check which date my local field office opened in July?

Thanks a lot.

IOE = Electronic processing center. It's used for N400 and some other forms that can be filed online.

Goto https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office and you'll have options to search for your local field office and ASC (biometrics) using your address zipcode. The mailing address of Arizona is usually for filing physically. For instance I live in MD but I filed to the Texas facility.

Most USCIS offices for ASC opened up on 7/13/, 7/20 or 7/27

Today marked the 90 days since my local ASC opened and I have no update on fingerprints so I called USCIS. Took multiple tries and probably some luck since it was hard to get to an agent.

First time the agent said they could not access the info and asked me to call back again. That was a 30 minute wait. I called a few minutes ago, and I was put in touch with an agent. I repeated the deal about biometrics and ASC reopening within 90 days and she said they will enter a service request. That was entered, and apparently I should hear back about the service request no later than November 3rd. I was provided with a confirmation number as well...and so the wait begins...

Thank you. Turns out it is Denver.

Good luck.
