Will do keep you posted ! I can't remember the exact steps. But first I ask for Live Chat, and it usually pops up a topic - which I choose as being biometrics. Then it asks me to enter my case number and eventually I connect after a waiting time...just be mindful that like everything else, the queue number doesnt seem to go sequentially. I missed out chat once since I was 15th, and it went to me first right after while I didn't see it.

We submitted my wife's application on 06/01 and received a receipt notice around then. We haven't heard anything since regarding biometrics or other. According to the USCIS processing time website at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/, based on the receipt date they posted there for my local office, it says June 15th and if your receipt date is before that you can submit a case inquiry online. Well I tried submitting one and then it came back and said that her case was within normal processing times and I cannot submit an inquiry. So obviously it's contradictory. Is it worth calling or something to try to get an inquiry filed? I know people said on here about 90 days following the offices re-opening, but where can I find that information? In our case our local office is Tampa, FL.

Double check the year in the processing times website. I think it is probably June of 2018 ...

I did my biometrics yesterday. The biometric appointment showed online two weeks ago but I only received the paper copy on Monday, a day before the appointment! Right after biometric was done I checked the website and estimated completion time got closer by a month. Originally it was March 2021 then it pulled back to February 2021 and the old website status changed to case is being actively reviewed by USCIS. Then this morning the new website update as well and the biometric notice is not on the first page however my case estimated completion time bumped up by two months and now shows April 2021. I knew this estimated completion time doesn't mean so much so I'll try not to read much into it.

In case you are wondering my only biometric was taken six year ago in an embassy outside of us, so I was pretty confident that they cannot reuse my biometrics. Glad that this step is done.

Any updates from my June people? May and April are moving forward. Hope we’re next.

I didn't hear anything from them yet, filed June 26 though, not quite yet "90 days" plus it is in NYC so things have been very slow here...Anybody else in NYC moving forward? It only says "We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time." We just have to be patient here I guess. Estimated completion time says July 2021

I'm in Washington DC area. Our ASC office is in Alexandria VA and the field office is in Fairfax VA. I sent my application late June.

By the way I called USCIS a couple of weeks ago asking for update on biometrics and the lady said if 90 days passed from when you filed you application or when your ASC office is opened (Whichever is the latest) and you haven't received your appointment you should fill a form online. I don't remember the name of the form. Since all of the June filers passed the 90 day limit for filing the application you have to figure out when your ASC opened and if it was more than 90 days ago you need to give USCIS a call and ask for that form.

Interesting, my 90 days since filling is in two days. I believe my ASC office opened sometime in July but I can't find the information. I'll call USCIS in a few weeks.
