05/01/2017 - Interview canceled: (waiting on other paperwork to be transferred) 
07/14/2017 - New interview scheduled for 8/28/2017 
8/28/2017 - Interview attended  Approved on spot 
09/14/2017 - Received PR card for 2YR

Hi everyone, I filed my N-400 on the 26th of June 2020, I received biometrics re-use on august 7th and I was scheduled for interview for October 2nd by 11am a Lawrence Ma, the interview went well and

Did your online account show estimated case time?

Mine is still showing it will take 48 hours

It did originally show '48 hours'. Now it just says 'It's taking longer than usual to process your case'. I honestly don't even know what 48 hours referred to...

My "Estimated completion time"  increased by 3 months today, used to be Nov.2020 now Feb.2021.

My NOA1 date is 30th of June for my N400 and my online account still says "will update in 48 hours". The old egov.uscis.gov site does not give me the validation error but gives me the usual we received your case etc. I looked around on reddit r/uscis and it seems like people are finally getting some biometrics issued - but still for Feb/March..looks like it will be a long wait

I check my account daily.

Today, my "estimated wait time" is blank, after first showing "3 months", (Sept 2020), then "28 " days  (for August 2020). 

 

Next to the blank estimated wait time, there is a message "We are taking longer then expected, you do not need to do anything at this time".  So still waiting for a biometrics letter. E-Filed and NOA June 11, 2020 Manhattan office.

My "estimated case completing time" has changed from June 2021 (12 months)   to August 2021 (13 months)  to July 2021 (12 months) (updated today).  I imagine someone is scheduling manually all the backlog from last few months... Biometrics backlog,  Interviews, ceremonies and the like . It may keep changing couple more times.

keep waiting I guess.. 

I believe everyone received an additional 3 or 4 months to their estimated completion time.  I believe a few who have fixed interviews already scheduled for this month or next month received an irrelevant increase in their completion time. It's typical USCIS system antics.

Does anyone know if there's still a chance that I-751 would get approved with a pending N400?

Or once you file N400 they just merge both applications & only process N400 going forward?

From my personal experience, We had a pending I-751 for about 20 months, we applied for N400 and the I-751 only got approved shortly after the N400 interview. (They were both approved) Oath was done this past June.

We applied for I-751 on June 2019 , we got a RFE on May 2020 , we sent our Response on June 24th 2020 , we also mailed the N-400 few days later.

I751 Was Approved on 07/22

We Received N400 NOA on 07/26and it was dated back to 07/02
