Question about the fingerprints appointment

Good day friends,

I would like to ask about the fingerprints appointments, I know they just gonna reopen June 4 but I would like to know if anyone already got updates about dates or anything in the case status.

I received a notice on my case status saying the post office could not deliver my NO1 in the beginning of May, I requested them to send me a new copy but I did not  get it.

I'm a title bit worried as I'm not sure what was written in my NO1, if could be something about the appointments as I did not get any updates in the case status since then.

Does anyone here got a letter for fingerprints appointments lately or any update in the case status ? Thank you..

ASCs, the place fingerprints are taken, are not opening on June 4. So no biometrics yet.

The NOA1 doesn't say anything about your biometrics appointment. It's just a notification that your application was received and will include a receipt number, the date it was received, and that the fee was paid.

Your biometrics appointment will come as a separate notice, I believe mine came about two weeks before it was scheduled. I'd keep checking your case status on the USCIS website, it should show once the date has been scheduled if you don't get the mailed notice first. I would imagine they have a backlog of delayed appointments to get through before they can start scheduling new ones again.

So probably will take some more weeks..

Thank you for your response

Oh of course of course! I was only curios to know if they are resuming interviews beginning June 4th

Some field offices are resuming non-emergency interviews. You can find out about yours here:  https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices
