Thanks for your kind words.

Of course they said they are working on Feb cases as usual..

Then all you can do is wait... I know our second submittion took 9 weeks mid jan through end of April. I’d imagine it could be longer now due to manning levels and the virus

Has any overseas filers been able to get IRS tax transcripts? The online is not working and it says they are not doing them through mail right now. I was just going to do the tax returns, but I don't even have the W2 for when I worked in the states 3 years ago (when I filed taxes, my company allowed me to electronically import it, so I never downloaded it.)

Do you think it will be OK to just submit in the copy of my returns and my equivalent of a W2 from South Korea where I've been working? I already have a joint sponsor as my overseas income will not count.

Not an overseas filer but unable to get my 2019 tax transcript because I filed on paper and the IRS is not processing those.

For anyone else in this situation--did you upload a copy of the submitted return with a statement about why the transcript isn't available?

I have 2015-2018 transcripts, but because I was working abroad those years, my transcripts shows 0 earned in the US. Since Jan 2019 I have been in the US and earning well above the minimum income requirement so am trying to avoid a joint sponsor if possible.

I’m in the same situation (minus the abroad work). I uploaded 2018 transcript and filed for an extension for 2019 with the IRS. I entered my 2019 income under current income in the I-864ez, uploaded the extension confirmation, and 2019 W2.

Have not received DQ yet, but I think if you can proof current income you should be ok.

yes we are so ready for this to be over even though we want to wait until we are 2 years married so he can get his 10 year green card. We will be 2 years in December :) but we will see.

That's what happened to us. In April we were at our 2nd year anniversary and my wife visa class changed from CR1 to IR1 in NVC. So at least now I know she will get her 10 year green card.

Same situation))) 1th of December will be 2 years of our marriage. But better I will go there until that date than wait December to take 10 year green card ☺️

Would the petitioner be able to visit you instead? I don't want to discourage you in any way, but waiting it out for some more months can safe you from a real big headache called removal of conditions. The wait time for this has been 18 months and more. The automated extension does not cover the actual wait time. Folks have to go make infopass appointments repeatedly to get a I-551 stamp on their passport to be able to travel. Plus we've seen many RFE's for proof of relationship which will need to be gathered again.

It's just me, but if we were close to the anniversary once we have the interview, we'd wait it out (with me visiting the hubby in his country).
