Just be patient.  Once NVC receives your case it will take around 10 days for them to create your case number and invoice number. In the meantime work on the files you will upload so when the time comes to uploading you have everything ready and everything is filled out right, and you have the correct civil documents. Check out the time frames on nvc timeframes.

Anybody else been waiting on the NVC for over 4 weeks? I got approved May 8th and still haven't heard anything from the NVC. I Call them everyday and they say my case isn't there yet. It's a bit surprising as everybody seems to get it within a week now.

On your online USCIS account does it say that case was sent to department of state or just the approval notice?

Hello,

Our case is just missing the police clearance certificate for us to complete our AOS and IV at the NVC.  My wife went to the MIS (Ministry of the Interior Service) office in her hometown on May 14 to apply for the record (it was the first week they were open after Covid-19 lockdown).  They stated the record would be ready on May 28.  On May 28, they stated that no records were available due to technical problems with their computer system.  The actual explanation was on a handout they gave my wife, which she translated for me.

She has applied for the police cert online a day later, but the website gave her the same error.   She has tried every day since, with no success.

Ukraine is easing lockdown restrictions for most regions, but her oblast is among a handful that is still under harsher restrictions.

I am wondering if we can submit a letter explaining the situation instead of the PCC, with a promise to provide the PCC during the interview.  When her region's lockdown restrictions are lifted she can travel to Kyiv and apply for the cert at the main MIS office.

Has anyone submitted such a message to the NVC and have received their DQ?  A letter that PCC is not available due to Covid-19, instead of the actual PCC?

We did it for our taxes, we were unable to loging due to an error in our account. We uploaded an explanation letter stating we will bring the missing docs to the interview. Got DQ a few days later

All credible reports are that original EO will be extended indefinitely, with an additional EO banning H1B, H2B, L1, and J1 visas.

where are you seeing this?

Moving convo here from the other topic - so others can benefit as well :)

As you said it states “first”, not “only” so they’re just giving preference but didn’t put a hold on the suspended categories. I saw I March 3rd F2A submission DQed this week (I believe in this group), and a March 4 submission DQ this morning in a FB group.

Hope this puts your mind at ease :)
