Some Expedited CR1 approved in Phillippines and another interview tomorrow per FB group. And they are still under lockdown with routine services suspended until July 31.

What is the fb page?

Hello,

Did they ask you for the DS 5540?

Actually they did not. I had it filled with me though.

Does anyone know if you will ever get the I-130 package back? I don't need it but was just wondering what they do with all our photos , letters of support etc.

Congratulations!! I’m wondering has US embassy in Vietnam updated they resume the interview on their website or fb page? Because I found out some of the embassy still saying they suspended the routine visa interview but they also actually scheduled interview.

Thank you! Around 2 weeks ago they updated their page in the Important Notices section: https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/ and emailed my wife that the interview appointments are ready for us to reschedule. For our consulate, we did the interview rescheduling ourselves.

My wife didn't get anything from the I-130 package back after her interview.

Thank you! We had a bunch of pictures from our Europe trips and some handwritten letters with envelopes, so I took them with me.

I see, thank you for response. We had a lot of pictures from our traveling too. Just really didn’t think they will ask it))) because we married so long already, almost 2 years, we own a house together etc.

Phew. So interview is done.

It was done in 1.5 hours. Feels pretty fast honestly.

First you go through security checks, then you get a ticket to the first window. Very nice lady got all my documents required for interview including proof of relationship. Then I was sitting waiting for the interview itself. I took around 40 minutes since there was lady before me. After her interview it took around 20 minutes to get to mine.

Got called to the window, the was a guy asking questions and lady behind him checking on him.

Questions where

Tell me about you husband. Didn't really know what to say so just told them random facts about him lol, he asked also to tell him how we met, when we started dating and living together.

Other questions were what are our plans in the US, who is my sponsor, if I know his family. That's pretty much it.

Since medical result wasn't sent there yet we got AP and waiting for the results.

Congratulations on your successful interview. Looks like having lunch with a friend talking about your love. Sweet.

No you get none of it back. That's your package that follows you through ROC (If you need to remove conditions) and Citizenship. Then it gets filed at the National Records Center for eternity.

Ok 👍 Got it. Very glad for you guys! We are thinking maybe ask NVC to transfer our case to Kiev if it’s possible. I am from Belarus and original we have to go to Poland. Poland started reschedule interviews for spouses already. But one sad thing that borders between Poland and Belarus still not opened 🤦‍♀️ So we just stuck in Belarus. Wish you the best!
