Just to make sure I understand you correct - the petitioner submitted 2018 tax transcripts, you got DQ with a notice that 2019 tax transcripts need to be presented at the interview, is that correct?

First you will need to confirm that 2019 taxes have been filed by the petitioner. If that's done, they can create an online account (if they haven't done so already) and check if the return has been processed. Once it's completed, the 2019 transcript can be downloaded on the IRS website.

If the petitioner filed taxes online, it's usually a quick process. If they did paper filing, there's a huge delay at the moment. We paper filed at the beginning of April because we filed married filing jointly and needed to apply for an ITIN for my spouse and the return isn't processed until this day.

Yeah, that’s correct. You got that right. And we filed online last week and we’re waiting now the taxes to be processed

Then don't worry! Online filing is quick. You will probably hear back within 2-4 weeks.

Hello everyone :)

So here is a little overview of my medical exam in Kyiv yesterday.

So they scheduled my medical on the 24th at 8am

. I got there exactly at specified time, all tests are performed on the third floor of the clinic. When I got to that floor I saw 4 people sitting there, only later I understood they are all here for the same reason.

First was urine test and x-ray, that was super fast and done in 10 minutes and that's when things got terribly slow.

You don't know what the next test will be, so you just sit in a corridor with the rest of people and wait till they call you. The next blood test took around 45 minutes to be done because the rest of the people went before me. Then it was weight, height and blood pressure tests. It took another hour or so. Finally, there was a medical history check where the doctor asks about diseases you have or had, mental illness, and checks your body and lungs. Personally, for me, the wait felt like it took forever. The first 3 people took around 20-30 minutes each, and the last 2 (including me) took like 5 minutes. I don't know what the reason was for the long wait, but I finally heard that my condition is fine and I'm good to immigrate.

So in total it was 4.5 hours of the medical exam and the results won't be in time for the interview, because my interview is scheduled on the 30th of June at 10:30am, so they told me they would send it to the embassy directly around 11am on the 30th.

From what I heard, they were allowed to give only 1 envelope per day, so they found a person who could pick it up themselves and everyone else's results would be sent directly to the embassy.

As for interviews in Kyiv people had them on the 30th,1st, and some other dates but all were relatively soon. I believe they resumed work at a pretty good pace.

Hello,

Thank you for the post.  We were DQ'd last week and we are waiting for the interview to be scheduled.  I emailed the embassy directly and they just responded with the official status - that routine visa services are suspended and to wait to be contacted by the NVC.

Did you have to have an interview confirmation to get the medical?  We were considering to have my wife take the medical now, if they only require the KEV case number.  And I assume this is the Medicom clinic on Vasylya Tyutyunnyka Street?

Well we waited for month to get interview date before the quarantine started. So I wouldn't rush until you have an appointment scheduled. Since your can enter only 6 month after medical exam. They needed only KEV number for medical but they do ask when is your interview.

Yes it's correct clinic.

Welp and here is my first bummer after medical, despite having 4 measles vaccines in childhood and one done again exactly half a year ago, since I didn't rubella antibodies my measles titre test turn out to be negative :(

Does anyone know what are the actions required now? I understand that next vaccine should be done, but do I need to redo the medical and get positive antibodies?

Really feel lost for now since all I got just the test result.

Do you have the record for the vaccine from 6 months ago?  Also, I believe you can call Medicom and ask them if a vaccine cert is enough.

EDIT:  P.S.  I believe you need 2 doses of MMR vaccine as an adult.

I had all vaccinea recorded in my immunization card. One done when I was 6month old, another when I was 6 and one more 24th of January this year. I guess I gotta ask them what should I do now.

It's interesting my doctor didn't tell me anything about 2nd dose, I definitely had 2 doses for chicken pox tho.

Did as you told. Clinic told that I can just do vaccine at my home town and send them vaccine certificate.

And I decided to call to another private clinic this time, and they told me oh you need 2 vaccines for measles with 2 month break.

I have a lot of questions to my family doctor and their private clinic. 🙄
