By the way, there have been many posters here on VJ that have received appointments for cr or ir1s since mid last week (Poland, Indonesia, France, Jamaica, Vietnam, UAE,  Pakistan) expedited or regular that was postponed previously due to C-19. Yet, we have only seen 3 updates on embassy websites-Vietnam, Jamaica, Togo. So you would be wrong to think that no official update on an Embassy site means that they are not starting to process mission critical visas.

Wait someone got scheduled in UAE?

I think so, But someone on FB said that expedited cases are given priority over all other cases

there is someone who got DQ in May/June and cases expedited. They got July interview

That’s because they are not fully opened yet.  Currently some partially opened embassies are processing expedited cases after reviewing and determining that those cases are truly emergency cases. Once they are fully opened, they will resume normal cases as well.

Hi.

Does anyone asked about recent tax return before their interview?

we did and I don’t think the office start officially and there’s no one to print out for us,

if you guys know something or with same situation please help us out

thanks

Did you not submit one to the NVC along with your other documents (before you got documentarily qualified)?

We downloaded ours online from the IRS and submitted those (and will print them out to take to the interview when the time comes).

That’s not happening anytime soon, cases are going up. They opened airports though

Nope, mine hadnt been scheduled yet.

Apparently this may have been an email response to someone's query, a couple of people still have their interviews schedules at the end of the month thankfully.

Thats why I’m concerned. No embassy is going to fully open soon. Yes I know Vietnam is opened because they had 0 deaths

Yes, you have to sign up for STEP notifications, you create an account and choose your embassy. They will send you notifications each time the embassy has something to share:
