I think they could have made a better movie if they'd just kept Jack Sparrow and the two sidekick pirates (the fat one and the skinny guy with the wooden eye) and ditched everyone else. That would have required a bit too much risk taking than some Hollywood execs are capable of.

I like Spider Man 3 we saw it on the IMAX screen. To much computerised graphics though. My brother hated it.

Met Jan 1998, vows on 2006, Jay Jay born 2008, baby 2 - 2011

Look at time line for visa information

I thought it was a great movie too.

We saw "Black Book" a while ago and I thought that was a good movie too.

I was reluctant to see "Ocean's 13" but it was entertaining and had a good cast of course. I liked it.

Oh yeah. Blood Diamond was great. I really thought Leonardo was great in that movie too and I'm not much of a Leo fan. I really think he deserved the oscar on that one.

Speaking of which- I just recently saw the Last King of Scotland. I liked that movie a lot too, and I thought Forest Whitiker was brilliant as Edi Amin, but my problem was that I didn't think his character was actually the leading role in that movie. I think the doctor was the male actor in the leading role. I think Forest should have gotten best supporting actor or something.

Blood diamond was good. But i think they underplayed the political aspect of it. Only bringing it in a bit at the beginning and again at the end.

Good movies of the past year or so, Pan's labrynth, The Fountain (Really not a movie for everyone), Children of Men, Paris, Je T'aime, there are probably some more than I dont recall at the moment.

Happy feet was cute, but a little to musical for my taste.

Oh my god, have I got another crappy one to add to the list: Music and Lyrics. Rey and I just watched it on TV and it was AWFUL, and I'm not talking about in the realm of all films, I'm talking about awful in the realm of romantic comedies. I'm being pretty generous here, but I have to say it was probably one of the worst movies I've seen in five years.

Actually, it really seemed quite Bollywood, just with worse music. There was something essentially Bollywoodesque about it. I'm sure it will be remade as a Bollywood movie soon enough...

Also, I thought Blood Diamond was pretty heavy-handed and poorly directed. Two thumbs down on that one.

Watched that not too long ago, REALLY not a movie for everyone.

The Science of Sleep, thought it was good. Funny.

I end up watching quite a few foreign movies: Belle de Jour, Red, White and Blue, Children of Heaven, Baran, Tsotsi.
