As far as I can tell, no such thing as a BPI or RCBC receipt number but it is a US consulate unique receipt number

I think I need to create a new profile

"DS-160 information may require completion of a new profile"

I missed reading that part.

Actually this isnt good.  RCBC has about half of the branches BPI does.  This change has already created a headache for us.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

It has not been an issue to date.  That info has been posted for a couple years now (believe it relates to non-immigrant visa .. which is not how the K-1 is processed)

The switch from BPI to RCBC took effect 1 June.

Effective June 1, 2020, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines will change its banking partner to Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) from Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).  Visa applicants should pay the non-refundable, non-transferable Machine Readable Visa (MRV) application fee at any RCBC branch.  To find an RCBC branch, please visit their website at www.rcbc.com/branch-finder.

Hi @Hank_ hope all is well.

So when im filling up the all the information up when i get to the receipt part

i enter in the number then i press continue it gives me the error in red that i previously posted saying

"no valid record can be found for the entered receipt number."

The receipt number i have is from BPI. We paid this back in January of this year.

I dont understand why its not working.

It is possible they changed the system in the past couple months .. no one has reported the change, you may be the first.

Yes, Immigrant is selected. It also tells you to change it of you select Non-Immigrant if you are applying for K Visa. We are aware the Embassy will be opening June 15. We have sent an inquiry about the error code and still waiting on a response. We will also try again June 15 if we dont receive reply.

Over a year ago USTravelDocs posted this info, but until now there were no changes on the dashboard/profile.  It may be very possible that they are now enforcing having the DS-160 completed ... no big thing, it has to be completed anyway.   BTW .. the DS-160 is the visa application form.

Update:  USTRAVELDOCS states it is required that you complete the DS-160 BEFORE scheduling your interview

Then going back to your original posting.  Why do you think you need to complete a new profile if you completed setting up your profile months ago?   Can you access the calendar for scheduling?

We only thought the because of all the messages we see that pops up.

We can not see the Calendar because our Receipt Number does not work.

This is why we posted here. Because our Receipt Number is from BPI and the banks changed to RCBC.

The RCBC bank change did not happen until June, 2020.  As long as you paid your visa fee at BPI before June you are just fine.

Just wanted to follow up the Error that I have been gotten. It has been fixed after e-mailing USTRAVELDOCS

It was an error on their end. I can now advance to the schedule of interviews portion.
