Hello !

I'm new on this website really useful so far. My case is now at the NVC and I'm also using Boundless to help in my immigration process. I'm at the point where I gotta have my transcripts and diploma translated and evaluated for their US equivalent. Nothing really complicated I have my high school diploma and a vocational school diploma, which are both in French so they will also need to be translated in English.

I'm wondering if anybody here has some recommendation ? There's a lot of partner here I just figured since I found this forum recently maybe some of you would have recommendation for me.

What visa category are you?  Can you finish filling out your profile and timeline please?

For your visa class you don't need to get anything evaluated.  Unless you were going into a specialized field or if you were and EB (work based) green card, but honestly you don't need it.

You also don't need them translated.  You will need your birth certificate, if in French, however to be translated.

Yup got that already translated since it went through the USCIS step. I really wonder why Boundless ask me for those documents then, I will check with them.

Just wanted to add that having your diploma translated (don't know for evaluation / equivalency) is still useful. I work for a Canadian branch of a US company and the HR person told me the translation was much appreciated when I was hired.

If needed for the job yes.
