Hi everyone,

We finally heard back about our AoS application. They charged my card 5/27 and we got the text message this morning. From what I’ve been reading some people, some people have been getting 4 messages? My husband only got 3. When I checked on the USCIS website, it said they received our travel document application, EAD application and accepted our fingerprint fee. Does that mean our I-485 was received/accepted as well? It would be such a huge relief, maybe I’m overthinking this but any insight/experience would help!

I’ve included a screenshot of what’s confusing me

Yep! Looks like they got everything. Good luck for a quick approval!

Thanks for your response! The more I think about it, I realize I’ve been waaay over thinking this. For some reason, I thought It was only the biometrics fee that was approved. I’ve been awake for way too long and worrying so much about this 🤣 relieved it’s in their hands now!

it is stressful and confusing, isn't it? You should get  the notifications in the mail, too, and that will tell you they have received it. It just clarifies it a little more.

Hi,

When they received my petition for AOS they cashed the payment about 2 weeks later and started working on my case. I got an RFE last week requesting some documents from the IRS which I forgot to send. Now they have received everything and yesterday I got the confirmation that they are working on it again.

I hope they have all from you and everything will be approved soon.

Ahh I see well it’s good to know that they get back to working on your application pretty quickly again after sending more evidence. Keeping my fingers crossed that they’re happy with everything I’ve sent!

Initial requirements were met for them to start working on the case. Meaning they scanned all forms and they are filled / signed properly. Now they will check documents manually and if something is missing, then they’ll request it. IRS forms in case above.
