Hi if the US petitioner changes address after the USCIS petition is approved and the case is with the NVC do they only have to update the address with the NVC or does USCIS need to have the updated address of the US Citizen too?

Sorry it's a silly question, the change of address from on USCIS seems to only indicate that petitions that are not yet approved need to have addresses updated.

Whatever new you are filing with NVC make sure it has correct info, then if it changes before interview make sure to bring that up.

USC does not have to update address change with USCIS in general. If there is a petition that requires that then you need to let them know unless that petition is approved, then you don't.

You can use I-865 for any type of petitioner change of address. I’ve used it for pending I-130 when there wasn’t I-864 at play at all.
