Not true at all about senators. The immigration liaison at out senator's office helped us tremendously when our case was stuck at the NVC and then again when my husband was stuck in AP(back then everyone did not go through AP).

Agree. Senators do have their special channels to interact with USCIS.

I-751. No updates besides biometrics for 14 months. Contacted the senator's office and submitted an expedite request through them. Took 5 days for the expedite request to get approved by the USCIS and case was assigned to a different officer for review. 2 Days later, case status changed to 'Approved'.

Oh wow that’s good to know— I just emailed my senator’s office. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon

What was your base for expedite request?
Thanks

How did you get in touch with your Representative?

Just google your reps and you’ll find their information; then you send an email it’s pretty easy. I’d email a democratic senator/congressman tho

When I needed help from my congressman, to check on my wife’s AOS, we got a notice for an interview very quickly after they reached out. He was a republican. I don’t think political party matters. They just wanna be re-elected.
