Is the USCIS ELIS account ID on the receipt that I recevied five years ago when I applied for my green card the same as USCIS online account ID?

I'm filing my N400 and I tried to find my USCIS Elis account no in my email archive. All I can find is a username and password that does not work (User name is my email which is not accepted) I guess this is a different username which was just used for tracking my green card (ELIS tracking) I tried to retrieve my account using my email but it gives me an error that no account registered for this email. I guess I never have opened an online account (Is it possible to pay online without opening account?!)

I found the attached receipt when I paid for my green card. It has a account ID but no where specifically  says "Online Account ID" is this the correct online account number or is it something different and I should say I never had an online account number?

So this is ELIS no? and you've provided the same number but it didn't matter anyways?

Yes, the same one on the USCIS Immigrant receipt on the USCIS letterhead. The N-400 NOA immediately showed a new account number anyway.

Thanks!

I guess based on your experience reporting  ELIS no or not doesn't make a diffrence. I probably don't report it since it doesn't say "online" account no. and I don't have access to my online account with username/password that I registered five years ago.

yup, it didn't make a difference. Good luck on your application!
