N-400 July 2020 Filers (merged)

Timeline

I just checked on my case and the estimated case complete time has doubled from 7 to 14 months!  I filed online, Detroit local office, anyone else notice that too?

Sept 6 - NOA1

Oct 3 - NOA2
??? - case sent to NVC
??? - NVC received
??? - case number assigned
??? - AOS bill paid
??? - called NVC to review DS-261 and get IV invoice unlocked
??? - IV bill paid
??? - submit DS-260
??? - send IV/AOS package

??? - scan date

Mine went up from either 6 or 9 months (can't remember) to 16 months. I think the latest processing time update must've taken into account the delays because of the pandemic closures and any furloughs that happened. As long as we get to vote in the 2024 election, I suppose.

I guess you right, it’s going to be a long waiting game at this point...not that I mind, I’m really in no hurry, just got my ROC approved in Feb.  Only thing that peeves me is not submitting the N-400 in February immediately I became eligible, could have had a biometric appointment by now :(

Mine went up from 11 to 14 months 🙄 Las Vegas office.

Yes it did actually, people reported seeing their estimated case completion times change every time they logged in and everytime they refreshed the page, this was all due to the maintenance. That's why there were so many reports about those changes.
