I know of an April 2020 filer from Sacramento who last week just got a notice to go for interview May 25th, I think. So it may be fair to say Sacramento is working on April 2020 files

Waiting to hear how it went.

The sun is out in Denver. Time for them to down tools and get tans. Lol

I see. But I filed in July.

I understand. That's why I gave you real data so that you can gage your application.  Give or take, you have 2 months before interview notice.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Maybe some entrepreneur has created an artificial one that is only for Denver. You know any business idea flies in the US, however silly/ stupid it seems like.

Hello everyone my interview was finally over today. I am July filer of 2020 in Irving, Dallas.

First the IO asked my GC, DL & Passport and then begin the:

Civic Test

1.What does the judicial branch do? I answered 4

2.The house of representative has how many voting members?

3.Name one branch or part of the government.

4.What is one reason colonist came to America?

5.Who is the father of our country?

6.Where is the Statue of Liberty?

Reading: Who is Abraham Lincoln?

Writing: Lincoln was the President of civil war.

Then Yes / No question. And the IO asked what other documents that I have I give him the 2020 Tax return & bank statement. Then he said congrats you passed your interview but the decision cannot be made right now and he said he will try to finish to review my application then wait for your Oath letter in the mail and he give me a piece of paper a copy that I passed. Yay!😃

I just check my online and the Oath was schedule but no date yet. I am almost over on my journey. Thank you lord..! To all the VJ members thank you so much and god bless!🙏

Guys my interview is April 28th I'm ready for the test.

But just a question, I'm filing as a us spouse and i recently got my i751 approved (August 2020)

Do i need to only bring what they asked for in the interview letter !?

Or do i have to bring an update for all tye docs i submitted for the n400!?

Example : bank statement from after i filed n 400 (july) to this date (as of today)

Or do i just bring my n400 package with just the originals!?

It's just a lot of stuff to print out an update from the past 6 months

Upload as much evidence as you can to give them a chance to look at it before the interview. That way you don't need to bring as much, and the IO won't have a pile of documents to go through after the interview which could potentionally delay your approval (the IO might not even ask for any additional evidence at all, you never know).

Bring the originals of the important documents (ie birth certificates, marriage certificate, divorce decree etc, whatever important documents you uploaded/sent copies of).

Just to be on the safe side I brought the newest bank statement (all other months I had already uploaded), a couple of the newest utility bills and 2020 tax return. I didn't bother with anything else.

And then obviously the regular stuff such as ALL your passports, DL, greencard, interview letter.

I had uploaded pretty much everything (I uploaded new stuff every month my case was pending) and wasn't asked for any evidence of bonafide marriage at the interview other than the 2020 tax return (we had filed our taxes just a few days prior so I hadn't uploaded the whole thing and obviously no transcript was available yet).

Thanks @J1student.. ☺️ There is No multiple choice. If the question has 2or more answers you should say it all coz that’s what I did yesterday and the IO continue to the next question. Good luck to your interview. The IO was friendly and we even have a little chitchat.😀

Good luck kabayan on your upcoming interview. 🙂  As long as you study the civic test and your N400 form there’s nothing to worry... Go go go!
