You are one of the lucky ones. Some of us July filers are yet to receive bio.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Completed my naturalization process with the oath ceremony on Jan 26th. Journey started in July 2020. They did the bare minimum required in order to naturalize because of COVID so we took the oath and pledged allegiance to the flag and were handed our certificates and headed home. Very quick process, a little bit sad as it was no family allowed or gathering of lots of people (USCIS rep said they usually have about 500 people in a group at a national historical landmark for the ceremony and we had maybe 15 or 20 in the room that day). They usually make a big celebration out of the final step but it was not possible because of COVID. All the best to everyone else still waiting and hope things move quicker!

(Also, I thought they usually play the welcome to the US as a citizen video by the President but that didn't happen for us, maybe because of COVID as well).

I did my biometrics today (northern Ca). I didn't originally take my GC with me as I thought any ID would cut it, but they specifically asked for the GC and asked me to come back another time with GC, which I did.

Funny fact: my housemate has applied 5 months after me but was scheduled for the exact day/time as me. I guess the system thought we're a couple :)

Lol grattis!  We are expecting now the one for the appointment.  It’s been 6 weeks. And I read that after 2 months we can request an update. Hope it starts moving now that CA is starting to reopen

I hope so too. In my case it took +6 months. I also heard from a representative the backlog is huge and the biometrics capacity is down to 1/6 of the before time. You can request an update after 3 months or so, but you already know what the answer would be :(

How long does it take to get the interview notification? We received the biometrics reuse note on dec 28 but was issued on dec 14.

I guess it depends... I have filled n-400 in early July, and got Bio Reuse notice in early August...Nothing since then. Only status - "Case has been Received"
