Hello everyone, and happy new year.

My I-751 is pending, filed in July 2019. I filed N-400 in July 2020. My I-751 status hasn’t changed since December 31st 2019 (Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview)

Well, December 28th 2020 I received my N-400 interview notice (interview is February 3rd 2021)

My questions is, with my I-751 pending, would they do a combo interview or just the N-400?

Anyone in a similar situation?

Thank you!

Looks like a combo

Hi, quick question - I made a mistake when answering N400 part 12 question 7a "have you ever not filed taxes since becoming a permanent resident?" I answered no and now I'm worried I might have made a mistake because I didn't file for 2015 as I came in October 2015 and did not work until February 2016. I was claimed as a dependent on my dad's 2015 Income Tax Return though (will that suffice? I had no income) and I filed for myself for 2016, 2017, and 2018 because I worked. I did not file for 2019 and 2020 as I was in graduate school full time but will do so asap. How do I fix this mistake? What should I bring to the interview? Please help. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you so much!

I believe you should upload supporting documents as iris transcript for the year you paid taxes and letter of explanation why for two year you didn't.

Thank you! I already uploaded my tax returns for the years I did file (2016, 2017, and 2018) so do I just upload a letter for the years I didn't or should I back file? The thing is I already submitted N-400 and put down the wrong answer for the yes/no question for taxes so I don't know how to amend...

I am not sure how would you amend that. Usually when the notice some mistake they ask to amend. If you have received the notice of acceptance that means it is in process. In case they reject letter, I belive you can appeal and send the corrected application.

My wife finally got the te-use biometrics dated 12/14 but received 12/31. Online uscis account doesn’t reflect any change. But that’s ok I guess. SF office is finally moving.

funny thing is that the letter was received a month after we reported through the account that biometrics letter had been lost. Maybe it worked may be it didn’t but we got it!

now waiting for the interview date!!

got bio reuse notice on 12/29 dated 12/22, then on 01/01 at 1am got online update of my case "interview scheduled", checked online acct to find out its on 02/01. Super unexpected turn of event, from nothing to interview in 6 months. I called USCIS at the beginning of Dec and I think this pushed my case.

Nice New Years gift, now studying for test. Hopefully no more lockdowns in Hawaii or office closures.

Good luck everyone!
