It's interesting. I haven't seen any April filers get anything unless I'm mistaken.

Saw couple of people posting that their biometrics will be reused from ROC. Hopefully they reuse more biometrics to clear the backlog.

Has anyone checked the case status in the old site? I did it first time today and I am getting an error saying it does not recognize the receipt number

Well color me surprised. I do not need to have my biometrics done because they are going to reuse my old ones. I can't remember the last time I got them done? I think 2013? I'm going to roll with it

I-751 file: 11/07/11

NOA1 date: 11/10/11

Biometrics: 11/30/11

Approval: 08/17/12

Hold what you got and maintain.

Good news! When did you receive that notice? Today? Online or they send email? Thanks

It was online when I went to check for status update. Let's hope it's true so that they can clear any backlogs a lot faster!

quick question

The civic test that we have to take, is it going to be Multiple choice ??

It is not multiple choice.

What To Expect During The Real Test

The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test. During the naturalization interview, a USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 questions in English. You must answer correctly 6 of the 10 questions to pass the civics test.

Certain applicants, because of age and time as a permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. For more information, see our Exceptions and Accommodations page.

where are you? how come just 5 months?

My office is Jacksonville, Florida. I have no clue how come. I’m hoping is because I travel internationally often with the most recent one being early March so maybe they could be using the bio from there?! Who know at this point, I’m just praying it’s true.

I believe turnaround time is based on caseload. My office is out of Portland and it's saying 4 months. I haven't left the country since 2018 (I think 😂 feels like a lifetime ago)

Or it could be the website just throws out some arbitrary number and it means nothing.
