For the I-944, I am under the impression for part 3: item #10 Liabilities and Debts and part 3: item #11-12 Credit Card Score and Report are only referring to the alien applicant's credit and debt, from what I read in the instructions.

Is this interpretation correct? Does this mean that we don't have to worry about getting a credit report or listing my US citizen spouse's debts as well?

It's asking about the alien applicant. "If you do not have a credit report or credit score, provide documentation that demonstrates that you do not have a credit report or score with a credit bureau. You may provide evidence of continued payment of bills if there is no credit report or credit score." https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-944instr-pc.pdf

You need to fill this only about applicant who probably doesn’t have any debts and credit score. Credit report fills when here is problems with credit score and this fills not to USCIS. I recently applied and answer to all of this question no, cause I don’t have any debts and credit score.
