Unfortunately so! Hopefully you obtain an interview date soon as well. I know Montreal is barely interviewing for K1s with NOA2's post-Covid which is very frustrating.

A huge batch with NOA2’s from oct, Nov and some December are in transit as of yesterday so I’m hopeful but yes June marks 1 year mark for us for filing!

Is there a website or tool you're able to look this up in? The scanner on this website is pretty limited for Canada as it relies on user inputted information. Thanks!

Are you from Canada? I can’t see your timeline. If you have Facebook follow K1 Montreal group, best community and tons of info! They have a spreadsheet and follow almost all cases. I saw a case from Dec 4 that’s in transit right now!

Decided to send a couple more Senate/Representative Inquiries and another case status inquiry as well. We are coming up on a year now and still on "Case Received" so I'll keep putting pressure on the situation. Thanks for everyones help!

I'm still hoping you get your approval very soon!

Finally received some type of status stating they will make a decision within the next 45 days. Hopefully it's much sooner

That is more hopeful. That is the last message I received from them before our approval, so I hope yours comes soon.

Well... That’s what we did!!! We skipped his flight out and got married last weekend. Thank you, online “church” for ordaining my best friend. we drove out to a waterfall in a forest and with only five total people present, did the ceremony. It was beautiful, wedding-drama-free, and exactly what I would have wanted even not in a pandemic.

The next day, I notified NVC of his new ineligibility for the K-1 and we went to work on the I-130/145 submission packets!

good luck to all still awaiting the visa!!

That's so exciting! Was it an easy process?? This K-1 visa has taken a year so far and it will probably still be another 7 months...

I just want to live with my man instead we're stuck paying 2 mortgages unnecessarily and hardly see each other :(

hey there you only fill out DS-160 when you received packet1 from the consulate.

try to call NVC and understand why your file is still sitting there but most likely it is the consulate that asked them not to send cases over.

I already filled it out I don't really think it matters but it seems like people have been working on the list in the P3 once it says "In transit" from NVC to the embassy in Montreal
