Congrats to all the approvals!  Is it me or does it feel like process is speeding up now that the xenophobe Agent Orange is out of office? 😉

You honestly think biden has done something in a week to speed this up? He's the one that just banned more countries from entering the US....

I suspect political reasons for it having been slow more than political reasons for it speeding up... but politics aside, I’m just glad to see that things do appear to be speeding up and that it’s finally our time to hear some good news! We’ve all been waiting for so long.

I only hope they notice embassies aren't opening too and fix that issue as well

Right. Bogotá is still closed completely for routine visas across the board since March. My fiancé thinks there was talk about reopening in October 2021, but nothing is on the embassy website. The new secretary just got confirmed a couple days ago, it’s going to take some time for a new administration to make decisions, but I’m selfishly hoping consular affairs are prioritized for making plans to reopen safely and soon. Ongoing delays are going to effect people’s underlying petitions and visa applications. I would hate to see someone have to start over from the beginning because the laws don’t allow for extensions of certain things. But I’m not going to worry too much about that right now. I am just going to blissfully and continuously hit the refresh on my CaseTracker app and look forward to seeing it change over at some point.

Please take the political discussions to the CEST forums. We all have our own opinions on the past and present administrations but this thread is meant to encourage and update each other. Not to antagonize each other.

Oh God I hope they open sooner than that! Good luck to you my friend! I filed in July, I'm right behind you

Someone on the FB has NOA1 of June 4 and he received his approval :)

Hi. Did he receive his approval visa from interview or NOA2?

yes the expected processing times have been reduced drastically. and if you look at the actual cases on case tracker they already approved a few June and sent a few RFE.

so hopefully it will be soon time for our cases to be processed.

Mid june NOA1 here!

finger crossed!

I’ve was excited to see the change from 9.5 months down to 6-8. It’s very uplifting! Do you know if the date shown on the USCIS websites mean the NOA2 is sent in that time frame?

Sort of. That timeframe means that they will process the NOA2 within 6-8 months of you receiving your NOA1. The date is when you should contact USCIS if you have not received your NOA2, currently they're at June 3.

USCIS has just started sending NOA2's for June filers. Next step is NVC -> Interview -> Approval
