I134 proof of employment

I am trying to get all the documents ready so that I can send them to me fiancé (I am the petitioner). I have everything except the letter needed from my job. Since we do not know yet when his interview will be, I was wondering if I should get the letter from my job now, or wait until we get notified by the consulate so that the date would be more recent. Is there a certain time frame in which the proof of employment letter needs to be dated?

A good rule of thumb is to have your documents dated near the interview. For the employment letter there is no validity period but again, closer to the interview would always be best. Good luck and stay engaged.
