Hi everyone, I really appreciate your advice on what I should do. In February I (US citizen) filed I-130s for my parents to start the process to get them immigrant visas. Sadly, my dad died a few weeks ago. I had honestly forgotten about the I-130s with everything that's happened, but then I got an email saying my mom's petition has been approved. My dad's petition hasn't been approved yet and I don't know what the right thing to do is. I obviously want to make sure I do everything right so I don't endanger my mom's ability to immigrate. Should I try to withdraw my dad's I-130 now or do I just do nothing and, if his petition's approved, just let it expire at NVC? Obviously when we fill out the DS-260 for my mom we'll give all the correct information about his death and submit a death certificate. I'm just not sure how to even withdraw his petition other than calling USCIS (which has always been pretty useless when I've called them before, so I don't even know if that would work).

Thanks for your help!
