Hi. Im originally from the UK I'm now live in the US. I have sent in my forms and it has all be prossesd. I have my work authorization card and a temporary SSN#. I did have an interview lined up but it was cancelled duw to the covid-19.. I am expecting a baby this happend after the possess went through and when I originally had my interview kind up. My question is will I need to do anything now that I have a baby in the way?

Keep in mind everything already went through to the final step till it got canceld because of the covid-19.

Well you don't have to do anything with the consulate since it looks like you skipped that whole step.  I think you are a talking about the AOS packet of forms and related interview.  If you have an interview, you can take an updated I-864 to the interview if the child is born.

April 6,2023 Legally Separated - Oh well

Need more info.. You posted in the DCF forum; did you come here on a CR1 visa?  What interview are you referencing?

Sounds like you are doing AOS since you live in the US already, not getting a visa (domestic filing of the petition or DCF).

If the baby is born in the US, they will be a USC. If not, they may be a USC via their USC parent instead.

If the baby is born prior to AOS being approved, you would just need to tell them and provide a copy of the BC so they can update the forms. A new I-864 may be requested as well due to the change in household size, so having a new one ready in case they want it is a good idea.

Baby will be born in the US and will be a US Citizen. On the way has no impact.

An unborn child doesn’t affect anything in the process. They don’t count that as part of the household since it’s not here...
