Applying I 130 and i 485

Hi,

 

I'm on H1B visa. My fiance and soon to be my spouse, has green card. In Visa bullet in , i see that spouse related preference cases  has 'current'.

1. Is the current means my 130 and  485 get processed immediately?

2.  What the average time to get work authorization and travel document from the date of filing I 130?

1)  Not immediately but in normal processing times

 

2)  6 to 8 months typical

If the process of 130 and 485 not going to be started immediately,  then what it means by "Current" (in visa bulletin ).  what that 'Current'  indicates?Whats exactly advantage of being show as current?

"Current" means you are eligible to submit the I-485. If it wasn't yet "current" then the I-485 would be rejected.

The visa number is already available, but you will be processing behind all the other applications ahead of you in line.  That is why it is not instant.
