I have submitted all our documents at NVC on 5/6/2020 but no police clearance due to lockdown but I leave a message that my son will provide his police clearance during the interview. And I received an email from NVC this morning and when I checked the ceac website, there's 2 messages but I couldn't open it. Does it mean that we are approved? I'm confused.

It means the next step is the interview......which will be assigned by NVC once the consulate has provided available interview dates AND when you are at the front of any cases already waiting in the queue (at NVC).....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Behind other cases which are already in the NVC queue waiting for interviews.

How you were able to click on submit documents without uploading Police Clearance Certificate? I uploaded everything except police clearance certificate(for India) but 'Submit Documents' option is not active to click on!

On mine, Police clearance shows under required documents.
