As of now, I hope someone will pitch in, keep it that those numbers or reports are not available, and explain that you don't have a SSN. Also, have you been to US prior to this visit?

Yes I have been to the US several times before this visit.

Hello!  I am also filling out this form right now.  I have a US spouse, so not sure if this applies to you:

I had to get an individual tax payer ID because I couldn't get an SSN, of course.  Equifax will make you call them even though you appartently can check your credit score with an ITPI.

What was your status in earlier visit, I am assuming, you never had a work visa, hence no SSN. You should use that as your explanation as well. Mention all the statuses you held in the past.

Okay, cool, just put all the stamps of your visits and also your current I-94. These are anyway part of the paperwork. That way you can explain that you never had SSN and hence no credit history. If you could get the ITIN, that will definitely help as the other kind soul has mentioned. Good luck!

I got it through a joint bank account with my husband- it was part of the process and the bank submitted it for me.  I'm a little fuzzy on the memory, so forgive me for that.  I don't know if that would be the fastest route for you but it was the way that I went.

Google the W-8 BEN form - this was what I had to fill out and submit to get the tax number from the IRS.
