Soon to expire NOA2

My Noa2 expires on June 2. My fiancee had an interview scheduled in Manila in Mid april and then in May, but both were cancelled due to the quarantine that is in place over there. Also the embassy has cancelled interviews for the time being. From what I understand, Noa2 automatically extends for 4 months when an interview is scheduled. Is this true, and do I need to do anything else?

The NOA2 does expire after four months of receiving it. However, it is ok. You can always have it extended. I suggest emailing the US Embassy in the Philippines and explaining your situation.  Mine expired on 4/25 and I still do not have an interview date, I emailed the embassy and received an automated response saying I have to wait until they open back up.

We are in the same boat. NOA2 expires 06/03/2020. We paid the visa fee but couldn't schedule interview, and since we couldnt schedule interview - we couldnt schedule the medical exam. I guess we have to wait until things open back up? What a mess!
