Wife doesn’t t have insurance.is it public charge ?

Yes new company didn’t offer because they don’t have enough employees and it would be expensive for them to offer her insurance.since February 2020 she doesn’t have any coverage.When company couldn’t offer her after this period of time ,she is Looking by herself now .will it be problem  in beneficiary’s visa interview abroad with US consulate ?? I appreciate your response

Yes, it could be a problem.  The CO will look at the totality of the petitioner’s financial situation (of which health care is a large component, because it is so expensive in the US) to make a determination about public charge.

 

Plus- honestly?  She really needs it.  Health expenses are the leading cause  of bankruptcies in the US.  What will she do if she gets sick or hurt?

True .Is it ok if she find from market place which is expensive or she can use social services because she does not make enough money .thanks for your answer .It’s helpful

If she uses Medicare she is a public charge.

I believe you mean "Medicaid". It's also known by different names in each state (e.g., Apple Health in state of Washington).
