Karate Self Defense Techniques - Very Good For Women Too

Since we are all staying home and not doing anything, might as well learn a valuable skill.

Who knows, maybe these karate techniques will come in handy one day.. This video is good for women too...

I noticed they uploaded a knife defense video. I like this one better though

 

 

  I did when I was younger. The 2 most important overlooked techniques for people who haven't trained (IMO) are always be aware of your surroundings and run if you can. My preference is not to allow a situation where a potential attacker gets close enough to where I would need to use self defense.

i used to until i snapped my ankle to a 90 degree angle landing from a kick in practice

it hurt pretty bad and i dropped like a rock. couldnt walk for a long time

fortunately it wasnt too severe and no permanent damage. ankle got swelling the size of a softball though. didnt have health insurance back then, and my gait is still a little off that its caused other problems with my joints on that leg
