those are fairly easy to obtain, you could apply right now and have it in hand before your departure

I can call the British embassy now, but is it possible that they can get me a transit visa before May 22? I saw on google that they sometimes expedite it, but it generally takes 12-15 days.

Well I just checked, I don't need a transit visa if I'm going to leave the next day. So I can fly in the morning to Newark. But the question is, is it safe to stay in London overnight lol?

from a quick google search I see one flight at 10 in the morning on the 23rd to Newark, and one flight at 3 in the afternoon to JFK. Both airports are on the list of airports that allow for arrivals from those countries if you qualify (keep in mind that you must arrive at one of the airports that accept passengers from the countries on the travel restricted countries).

sure, it's not preferred to have a long layover, but it's definitely a great option (compared to letting a visa expire) and if you monitor departures as I suggested, you'll see that the United flight in the morning (Flight UA 15) has been reliable the past days so it should be a safe option.

Can you send me the link to that Newark Flight? Cause I'm quite skeptical of flights from google, as mine was cancelled. I'm looking for airlines that are confirmedly flying a specific flight, kinda like how Air France flies to JFK 3 times a week on monday, wednesday, and friday, and you can book it on their website.

Worst case scenario, you hang out at the airport for the 15 hours or so of your potential layover.  Not the most comfortable, but certainly doable.

Good Luck!

That's not much of a problem. I can read and watch youtube on my Laptop, but are there any flights going from London to the US?

Sounds like there is one to Newark around 10am. It is showing United as a direct flight.

Honestly I'd just stay at the airport, or book a night at an airport hotel. You should be fine, just be attentive for general pick pocketing :)

The flight is here - if the link doesn't work just go to united.com and search. https://www.united.com/ual/en/US/flight-search/book-a-flight/results/rev?f=London,+GB+(LON+-+All+Airports)&t=EWR&d=2020-05-22&tt=1&sc=7&px=1&taxng=1&newHP=True&showBE=True&idx=1

Just make sure that your arrival airport is Heathrow (LHR) as well. London has more than one airport - I know that many middle eastern airlines use Gatwick. If you need to commute between airports you luckily have enough time, but it's good to be prepared for it :)

Found the ticket to Newark, but Newark Airport isn't doing any flights to Boston for some weird reason. Is there a safe way to go from Newark to Boston?

Also, there is a flight from London Heathrow to Boston at 10:15 AM on May 23 with American Airlines, but it costs $1500!?!?! I might consider it if I have no other choice..

Newark to Boston is 5 hours on taxi/ car. Surely, if uber isn't available, your parents can organize to come pick you up....

Problem solved

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

You can take the Amtrak train from Newark Penn station to Boston. I believe there are also shuttles that you can book to transfer from Newark to JFK airport and fly to Boston from there, maybe check on that (but allow for enough time between flights)
Or pick the direct flight at a higher cost :) I would just double check if the flight has been reliable - the flight to Newark I recommended to you because it has been a reliable daily flight so you know that you wouldn’t get stuck. By car it’s 5 hrs from Boston to Newark. You said that you’re 17 do I remember that correct? Maybe your family can make the trip and pick you up

Taxi will be super expensive, but I agree that his parents should be able to make that trip

My brother lives in Worcester, Massachusets. The AMTRAK train costs 52 dollars to there, so can I go by train? Is it still open? I'm just scared of trains though, cause from what I know, they're usually full to the brim.

Then tell your brother to pick you up. He can rent a car if he doesn't have one. I'd do the same..

You must be a very intelligent 17 year old. You hold your conversation maturely and seem to know your way around. Kudos...When I was your age, I was in secondary school.  Knew nothing about immigration...

I'd feel rude for asking, but my uncle has tons of miles that he always offered to give in case we wanted to travel. Is it possible to make an account on AAadvantage and have him transfer some? Then I'd be able to take the flight to boston for free.

I'd think about it if it's the very last option. I'm a person who'll try and use those mileage on as many trips as I could and just not on one expensive trip of which there was an cheaper alternative....
